California Proposition 65 Warning

At EBOOST, we believe in transparency and giving you the info you need to make confident,
informed choices about what goes in your body.

What Is proposition 65?

Proposition 65, officially known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, is a California law that requires businesses to provide warnings when their products might expose consumers to certain chemicals that the state has identified as potentially causing cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. The list includes over 900 chemicals, many of which are naturally occurring in soil, water, and plants.

Why are we talking about it?

Some ingredients used in dietary supplements and functional beverages—especially minerals and botanicals—can contain trace amounts of naturally occurring substances like lead, even when sourced responsibly and tested to meet federal safety standards.

California’s Prop 65 sets limits that are often significantly lower than those recognized by the FDA or other regulatory bodies. As a result, even clean-label, high-quality products like ours may technically fall under the Prop 65 umbrella.

What’s Our current Status?

Right now, EBOOST products do not carry a Proposition 65 warning on our labels.

However, we're currently reviewing the updated Prop 65 regulations that went into effect in 2025 and working with our suppliers and legal team to determine whether any of our products will require a warning under the new guidelines. If it’s determined that a warning is necessary, we’ll update our packaging and website accordingly.

Does This Mean EBOOST Products Are Unsafe?

Not at all. Every product we make is manufactured in facilities that follow strict quality and safety standards. We test ingredients and finished goods to ensure they meet or exceed FDA regulations and guidelines. Prop 65 is a California labeling law and its requirements are specific to California.
