On October 2, EBOOST founders Josh Taekman and John McDonald were proud to take part in the Pedal in the Park fundraiser organized by The 100 Mile Man Foundation.

The 100 Mile Man Foundation is a 501c3 that was founded in November 2006, when Jesse Itzler ran 100 miles (non-stop) in under 24 hours. Today, the foundation continues its “physical philanthropy” raising money for various charities through endurance events that test one’s physical and mental strength. To date the foundation has raised over $3 million, supporting over 30 charitable causes.

This year, the foundation teamed up again with the Fund For Public Schools to provide full college scholarships for qualified inner-city students from the New York area.  Their goal is to provide as many students as possible with four years of full college tuition.

Pedal in the Park has raised $218,718 so far, and donations continue to roll in. Even though the event is over, it’s not too late to donate. Just click on the link below and donate any amount.
